So every year the Times Magazine publishes the 100 most influential people of the year. This year I was a bit surprised both because of the ranking (Perez Hilton is almost 10 slots about the Dalai Lama) and the fact that I was completely unfamiliar with the top two contenders. The first place person was Shigeru Miyamoto (a video game designer responsible for the legend of Zelda series and who was a big influence on the Wii) and Rain, the Korean pop star. I guess you learn something new everyday
